Son Nica

Alternative title
Nicaragua: My Country
Synopsis
Nicaragua’s first free elections were held in 1984 with seven political parties participating. Looks at the new democratic processes by focusing on two women members of the new National Assembly, one an ex-nun and the other the mother of a 15-year-old daughter who died fighting the National Guard. The women make people aware of what war meant.
