- Records the technique employed by Dr Louis Sharpe, for 20 years the Demonstrator to the Chemistry Department at the School of Pharmacy at the University of London, for sodium fusion. It concentrates on procedure and deals with the chemistry involved only ‘en passant’. Its main use is to provide a basis for discussion before students attempt the technique for themselves.
