- Biography of Australian-born photojournalist Frank Hurley, who filmed and photographed Australian explorer Douglas Mawson’s expedition to Antarctica in 1911, and then Ernest Shackleton’s later undertaking. He served as a front-line photographer in both world wars, travelled with missionaries to Papua New Guinea and Tasmania, photographed Australia extensively and produced feature films there. Includes film footage of the Shackleton expedition. Narrated by Leo McKern.
