- Synopsis
- At the beginning of the century, a rapid number of discoveries revealed the cause of a tropical disease known as sleeping sickness. Depicts the imagined reminiscences of Sir Patrick Manson, the founder of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Dr Louis Sambon, as they discuss the events which took place. Contains material from ‘The Gambian Case’ and ‘Entebbe Encounter’.
