Sisters, Brothers

Synopsis
A performance recorded at the Gate theatre in London, on 21 March 1996 as part of the Gate Biennale, a celebration of contemporary European theatre. The play, written in Swedish in 1994 by Stig Larsson, translated by Frank Gabriel Perry and directed by David Farr, concerns three sisters who arrange a rare evening together. The intervention of their respective boyfriends produces a night of increasing sexual tension, cruelty, and ultimately revelation.
