- Synopsis
- The life and work of Sir Barnes Wallis in the field of aviation. The film begins with his early air-ship days and then goes on to cover the R100, the Wellington Bomber and the bouncing bomb. The latter half of the film deals with variable wing geometry and ends with a discourse on the Concorde and the F-111. Archive film and original test films are included.
