Synopsis
In Punang, a small coastal area in the southern part of Pulawan island off the Philippines, a young woman, Miming, undergoes the first ceremony of her ‘sinsin’ ritual cycle. In undergoing this ritual she seeks a state of grace and aesthetic balance in order to achieve protection for the land, good health, peace and abundance.
