Looks at conditions inside the wards of two British mental hospitals: St Lawrence’s Hospital, Caterham, Surrey, and Borocourt Hospital, Reading, Berkshire, and at the way in which care for the mentally handicapped is limited by lack of funding and by lack of interest by administrators.
