Synopsis

The images created by cinematographers Robby Müller and Peter James are vastly different. Müller’s work utilises his impressions of the qualities of Australian light and creates a moody and impressionistic feel, On the other hand, James neatly side-steps the problems caused by the cyclorama and creates a wider view of the windswept and dusty cafe. Split-screen comparisons illustrate the video.
