- In the light of the world’s first clone of an adult sheep, asks if society should limit scientific endeavour and questions and whether scientists are responsible enough to monitor their own research. Joan Bakewell discusses the issue with John Grahame Bulfield, Director of the Roslin Institute in Edinburgh, where Dolly the sheep was cloned; Lord Jakobovits, Richard Dawkins, Sheila McLean, and Donald Bruce. Also includes an extended interview with Profesor Jospeh Rotblat, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1996.
