Behind the Screen

Synopsis

Looks at human rights abuses in the context of labour disputes, forcible evictions and restrictions on freedom of expression in Java and Bali, and looks at human rights violations in East Timor, Iran Jaya and Aceh. Places these violations in historical context and appeals to concerned individuals to look behind the authorities’ propaganda screen and take part in Amnesty International’s campaign.
