Synopsis

Video recording using two cameras of a performance of ‘The Second Mrs Kong’, an opera by Harrison Birtwistle with libretto by Russell Hoban, performed at by the Glyndebourne Festival Opera at Glyndebourne on 7 June 1995. Conducted by Elgar Howarth with the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Directed and designed by Tom Cairns.
