Second Impressions

Synopsis
Four sequences showing second impressions being taking in special trays: 1) zinc oxide, eugenol: shows the preliminary border trimmming of the closely adapted tray. Uses tracing stick compound to correct the peripheries of he tray before taking the impression; 2) synthetic elastomer: shows a medium viscosity addition cured silicon material in a special tray. Uses a gun delivery system of mixing the impression material; 3) plaster of Paris: shows this fluid and very mucostatic material being used in a special tray; 4) alginate: alginate, or irreversible hydrocolloid, used in a spaced tray.
