Sea Urchin, The
- Synopsis
- Part 1 shows the early processes of development in the sea-urchin egg. Photomicrography shows the eggs, sperm, fertilisation and formation of the fertilisation membrane. Part 2 shows development from the pluteus larva stage to the adult in photographs and animated diagrams. The film was made with the cooperation of the Scottish Marine Biological Station, Millport.
