- Looks at a method for identifying hearing impairment in newborn babies, focusing on the use of a probe tht works by emitting clicks into the baby’s ear. A healthy ear will send echoes back to the probe for analysis. By using the probe, hearing defects can be picked up earlier and measured more accurately that with the standard detection test. Gives a full demonstration of probe screening using OAE Analyser for 4.20 softwre.
