- Synopsis
- A selection of images taken from the Documentary Photography Archive, a major historical collection that focuses on life in the north-west of England from the 1860s to the present. Using the work of professional commercial photographers, the slides, which span 50 years and two world wars, depict aspects of education and provide an insight into the social changes that were taking place during the first half of the 20th century.
