- Synopsis
- A compilation of material from the personal film collection of the second Marquess of Linlithgow, Viceroy and Governor-General of India between 1936 and 1943. Scenes show aspects of the Viceroy’s life and activities and include a tiger hunt in Nepal, a visit to a monastery in Sikkim and the wedding of the Viceroy’s daughter. The film is presented as far as possible in its original state.
