Synopsis
Illustrates the effects of the revolution on the peasant communities of Northern Nicaragua. Through the life of a small farmer and co-operative member the film shows some of the major developments and issues in Nicaragua - the efforts at national economic reconstruction, the huge literacy campaign, the formation of the popular militias and the emergence of local democratic institutions.
