- Synopsis
- Adapted from Eleanor Coerr’s book this true story of a young girl from Hiroshima whose life and death gave rise to an inspirational peace project. The child, who contracted leukemia after the Hiroshima bombings, embarked on a project ot fold 1000 paper cranes. Her death before she completed her task inspired a memorial that is commemnorated annually on August 6.
