- Synopsis
- Professor Michael Wheeler revisits some of the sites that inspired John Ruskin and informed much of his thinking - Rouen cathedral in France, the falls at Schaffhausen in Switzerland, Chamonix in the French Alps, Venice, Oxford, and the English Lake District. Uses original drawings, paintings and diaries from the Ruskin Library at Lancaster University, from Ruskin’s home on Coniston Water and from the Tate Gallery in London.
