Rumour of True Things, The
- Synopsis
- A film poem - Paul Bush’s ‘accidental’ portrait of our civilisation contructed from ‘found’ footage showing anonymous scientific processes which served their original specialist purpose in industrial, military and social research. Much of the material was produced by novel means: computer and digitally enhanced images, or ultrasonic and X-ray generated materials without distinctive style or form. These images and scenescontain a residue of their originial meanings and textures but develop in a new context, a new narrative dirction.
