Synopsis

Examines the relevance of the rules of war in today’s conflicts, 50 years after the signing of the Geneva Conventions in 1949. Investigates whether adherence to the humanitarian ideals of the conventions is helping regions such as the Caucasus and southern Africa recover from civil conflict.
