Synopsis
Phenomena associated with the rotation of homogeneous fluids. Includes horizontal trajectories in surface gravity waves, low and high Rossby number flows around spheres, Taylor walls, normal modes of inertia oscillation, Rossby waves in a cylindrical annulus, viscous Ekman layers, and very low Rossby number free-shear layer flows.
