Synopsis
Newly restored version of the film based on Jean Anouilh’s stage play about the conflict between Thomas a Becket and King Henry II starring Peter O’Toole and Richard Burton. Restored with the aid of Martin Scorsese’s Film Foundation, the DVD extras include Peter O’ Toole commentary; interviews with editor Anne V. Coates and composer Laurence Rosenthal.
