- Synopsis
- Recorded in Richmond upon Thames Magistrates Court, the film shows a re-enacted case illustrating the procedures for granting or withholding bail. All the parts are played by actual staff of the court, with law students as defendants. Shows a typical, but fictitious, bail application, filmed in real time, including an insight into the discussions by the magistrates in the Retiring Room.
