Synopsis
How does scrap copper find its way back to industry for re-use as a manufacturing material? Shows the stages of the recycling loop and the economic motivation that makes the system work. Shows a totter collecting household scrap, the buying, grading and sorting of scrap by dealers, the processing of the materials at a refinery, and the buying and selling of pure copper on the London Metal Exchange.
