Synopsis
The exhibition of the work of Italian architect Renzo Piano, recipient of the 1989 Royal Gold Medal for Architecture, covered 25 years of his practice, represented by architectural drawings, photographs, models and prototypes. It included the design for the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and two current projects; the refurbishment of the Fiat Lingotto factory in Turin and the Kansai Airport in Japan.
