Synopsis: Shows the full technique of registering the patient using record blocks consisting of heat-cured acrylic bases with wax rims. Discusses the purpose of this stage and shows the checking of the blocks, both extra-orally and intra-orally. Shows the methodical adjustment of the registration blocks and the inclusion of all the various parameters of the prescription. The registration is completed by sealing the blocks together using a proprietary elastomeric material, then the shade and mould of the artificial teeth are selected.
