Battle for Orgreave, The

Synopsis
Attempts to analyse the events at Orgreave Coke Works in June 1985 when 95 miners were arrested and charged with riot and unlawful assembly. Stills, amateur film and eye witness accounts tell a different story of events from that provided by police witnesses. During the subsequent trial at Sheffield Crown Court a year later, questions were raised about the police handling of the pickets and the reliability of police evidence. All the miners were found ‘not guilty’.
