- Synopsis
- Under the Convention on the Rights of the Child, every child has a right to express his or her opinion. Shows how children in four countries are speaking up for their rights: in South Africa children of all races draw up a children’s charter; in the USA an HIV-infected teenager tells her story in schools; children in Liverpool work with their local council to combat envrionmental hazards; the National Movement for Street Children in Brazil takes its grievances to the National Assembly and wins a new code of children’s rights.
