- Teaching module that 1) reviews the underlying physical principles of radiogenic isotope geology; 2) introduces the major parent-daughter systems and the quantitative relatinships that describe changes in isotopic composition; 3) presents the geological concepts on which interpretation of isotopic data is based; and 4) give practice in interpreting ‘real’ data and selecting appropriate methods to solve specific geological problems.
