- Looks at the biology of bats, which are the only group of mammals capable of active flight, a factor which dictates their morphology. Flight, heterothermy and echolocation allow the majority of bats to exploit an aerial, insectivorous, nocturnal niche. Also examines other dietary patterns. Approximately four hours of teaching material.
