Prophet, The
- Synopsis
- Drawn from a five-day workshop involving a group of postgraduate students studying drama in education and a group of spastic teenagers with two of their teachers, including Dorothy Heathcote. They attend Beaumont College, Lancaster, a specialised college of further education for spastic children. ‘The Prophet’ was one of the workshop projects. The film follows the later stages of the project development as the strategies for involving all the group are worked out. Music plays a significant role in this project as the group devise ways of incorporating the theme into their performance.
