Projective Generation of Conics

Synopsis
Developing conic sections and focusing on the several projective definitions, namely those that are devoid of metric notions. Such a projective definition implies the construction of a conic by means of straight-edge alone. The methods of construction developed by Pascal, Maclaurin, Braikenridge, Poncelet, and Steiner, are all exhibited dynamically, using animation. The logical relationship between the methods is demonstrated by visually highlighting special points and figures within the constructions as they are generated.
