Processing a Planning Application (2 Parts)

Synopsis

Concerns an application for a change in use of premises from a baker’s shop to a fish and chip shop and restaurant. Part 1 deals with the initial meeting of the Appellant and the District Planning Officer followed by meetings of the Community Council, the District Planning Committee and a further meeting of the Community Council followed by a meeting of the Apellant and his legal advisors.
Part 2 deals with an enquiry into an appeal against a refusal of District Council planning permission for a change of use of premises. The reporter’s decision is announced at the end of the enquiry.
