Stephen Black engages Dr Max Perutz and Dr John Kendrew, Nobel Prize winners in chemistry for their discovery of the molecular structure of haemoglobin and myoglobin, and Dr Francis Crick, Dr James Watson and Dr Maurice Wilkins, Nobel laureates in physiology and medicine for discovering the molecular structure of DNA, in extended polite conversation about the nature of science and the conditions for fruitful scientific investigation.
