Prescribing in General Practice (Provisional)

Synopsis
Tuition, practice and assessment on prescibing medications. Includes: prescription form; completing a prescription form; good practice in prescribing; controlled drugs; prescribing for emergencies; prescribing for the elderly and for children; non-prescribing as an option. Uses case studies to provide an opportunity to apply good practice in prescribing. Approximately four hours of teaching material.
