Preparing for Fieldwork 2: Equipment and Safety in the Field

Synopsis

Module based on the guidelines produced by the UK Committee of Heads of University of Geology Departments to provide basic safety awareness training for students undertaking geological fieldwork, lists of students for field couse leaders for each scheduled field course together with information for students’ safety, and records of safety awareness training in case of litigation. Approximately 4 hours of teaching material, intended to complement lectures and practicals.
