Synopsis

A selection of World War 1 posters taken from the collection of Hans Sachs, which he assembled in Germany between 1985 and 1930. The collection is housed in the German History Museum and has been supplemented in recent years by examples of North American and Russian posters from the same period. The CD-ROM contains approximately 700 posters, described and indexed using ICONCLASS.
