Synopsis
Discusses post-traumatic stress disorder. In two parts: 1 (18 min): Shows the nature of the experience, using a railway incident as the main example, and but also includes Aberfan, Skopje, battle stress and other traumatic situations, using footage and interviewing survivors and experts; 2 (12 min): reviews the imact on staff and the treatment options, illustrating the nature of the problem and the principles of management. The original programme was made in 1991 and it was re-edited in 1995.
