Illustrates the technique of pin placement for mandibular molars both diagrammatically and clinically using the thread mate system. The technique emphasizes the particular angulation of each pin in order to reduce the risk of pulpal exposure or periodontal perforation. The tooth is prepared and restored in amalgam.
