Synopsis: Two interviews with art historians Patricia Leighten and Rosalind Krauss, who offer different interpretations of Picasso’s collages. Both have argued that their respective methods produce radically different accounts of Picasso’s work. A major aim of the programme is to examine what we learn from comparing two contrasting systems of historical and critical explanation.
