- Synopsis
- Blue indigocarmine solution titrated with dithionite is yellow at the mid point. The solution oxidizes and turns blue (indication of oxygen). Determination or photosynthesis location in immersed plants: it occurs only in the region or leaves, never in the chlorophyll-free roots or flowers. Experiment to show the photosynthetic activity’s (oxygen formation) dependence on the concentration of carbon diioxide and bicarbonate (limiting factors).
