Concentrates on Philip King’s developing relationship with one piece, the large-scale work ‘Open Bound’ which was one of several being prepared at the time of filming for a major European touring exhibition. King takes the audience through his creative processes, from the initial model to the finished work.

Arts on Film Archive offers on-line access to a large range of films on art produced in the United Kingdom since the 1950s, and is a unique record of British and international post-war art, as well as of documentary film-making in the UK.
