Introduces the student to the style and method of mathematical modelling that had been developed over the previous few years. Covers 1) an introduction to the kinetics of disposition; 2) intravenous dosing and the two-compartment model: a) the mechanism, b) obtaining kinetic parameters; 3) oral dosing: a) the mechanism, b) evaluation of parameters and analysis of intersubject variations, c) the assessment of different formulations.
