Perception and Communication. Part 5: Egocentricity

Subtitle
Egocentricity
Synopsis
Each of us lives in a personal, unique world. We are constitutionally different, and have different experiences even of similar phenomena. We are egocentric too on a national level. The position from which we view phenomena is specifically our own. Especially difficult is the question of right and left, and learning that the same shape can mean different things according to one’s own bodily viewpoint. We recapitulate other factors which contribute to our egocentricity.
