Pelican, The, By August Strindberg

Synopsis
One of Strindberg’s late chamber plays for the intimate theatre, staged in modern dress by students of Bedford College, University of London. It uses a new translation by Inga-Stina Ewbank that faithfully observes the special punctuation Strindberg adopted in composing the play, which is a guide to the style and pace of the performance rather than a means of observing strict syntax.
