Paul Watson Thinking Aloud

Synopsis
Paul Watson is a director of television documentary films. His first for the BBC was A DUBIOUS FRATERNITY (1967), followed by the A YEAR IN THE LIFE series (1969), THE BLOCK (1972), THE FAMILY (1974), THE FISHING PARTY, later editing 40 MINUTES. He describes his role as director and author of the films he directs and recalls how dependent he has been on the film crews and editors of his films. He is credited with widening the boundaries and form of the television documentary film.
