- Synopsis
- Patrick Heron (b.1920) is among the most famous of the St Ives school of painters. Shot in St Ives, Cornwall, and at his 1985 London retrospective at London’s Barbican Gallery, this film shows the artist reflecting on his life, and traces the evolution of the blend of colour and bold abstraction that forms his mature style.
