Parents in Trouble
- Synopsis
- Many parents maltreat their young children physically and emotionally because they are unable to cope with the pressures of being parents. Looks at three case histories, examining the problems which caused the abuse and the means employed to relieve it. Shows interviews with parents, field and residential social workers and a team manager. The programme does not deal with sexual abuse.
